CONTRAST BETWEEN HOURLY AND CONTRACTUAL PROCESSES

1a. Hourly: I will go no faster than client can fully absorb all material for that session, as there is no commitment to a next session for review.

1b. Contract : I will push client to master all job hunting skills as quickly as possible and will have more involved follow-up to ensure that skills are being applied, so they find that next job as quickly as possible.

2a. Hourly: Client will pay for any additional MSA services. e.g. public job hunting workshop, 3M's of Performance, etc.

2b. Contract : Some additional services will be included

i. Client group meetings are free for contract; $100/hour for hourly clients

i. Image consultant at discounted rate.

3a. Hourly: Client must call for follow-up and additional support.

3b. Contract: MSA will call client throughout the process to facilitate accountability according to agreements even when client has not called as agreed upon.

4a. Observations: Hourly clients who use all of the necessary hours can become successfully employed.

However, they generally take longer, and work at a slower pace because they have not committed to the final objective of securing the job through me and are not being pushed.

5. Essentially, client is buying Mel Schnapper’s accountability for client’s success.
