Corporate Outplacement Contract
This contract is between _____________________ for Mel Schnapper Assoc. Inc.(MSA) and _______________________(for corporate sponsor)for the successful job hunting efforts of ________________________________(client). As a result of this contractual relationship for a fee of $xx,000 the client will secure the job of his/her choice for which he/she is qualified. Total payment will be made at the first session. Client will learn all of the skills as described in the "Winning at Job Hunting" video and workbook.
To guarantee this result, the client commits to do the following:
1. Complete all homework as assigned.
2. Call MSA: a. whenever there is a block, confusion or resistance of any sort, b. after any interview
3. Tape record all relevant phone calls
4. Review all correspondence with MSA before being mailed until told that those items are OK to mail without further review.
5. See additional tasks and measurable activity " Timetable and Performance Outcomes for Guaranteed Employment"
MSA will deliver the following:
1. Comprehensive coaching in all aspects the proven job hunting process as described in manual and video.
2. Coaching about all aspects of client's behavior that may get in the way of immediate and appropriate employment,
3. Availability 24 hours/day for answering questions and giving feedback,
4. Referrals to appropriate supportive services (printing, image consulting, etc.),
5. Attendance at the frequent (approximately monthly) public job hunting workshop or other events sponsored by MSA,
6. Introduction to others relevant to the job hunting objective such as other job hunters, professionals in the same field, potential employers. Though the contract is for skill acquisition, specific referrals may be made when appropriate.
6. Attendance at occasional support group meetings made up exclusively of other clients.
We welcome attendance by spouse or "significant other" to personal coaching sessions.
This contract is good for the lifetime of Mel Schnapper. Once this program is completed, client can use our services for no additional charge when they relate to any additional job hunting efforts. This condition may not apply when client: 1. has taken a job that we have not supported, 2. requested services beyond the purpose of job hunting e.g. employment problems, career reassessment. In such cases services will be available at the rate of $120/hour.
