Efforts cut across major functional areas of R&D, operations, marketing, engineering. Initiated and designed climate surveys to improve quality of work life and support non-union management approach. Designed and implemented systems for career/management development, team building, project management, manpower planning and affirmative action/EEO. Efforts produced cohesive change management strategy and improved performance throughout the company.
Conducted and coordinated management and supervisory development programs for senior to lower level employees at G.D. Searle . Acted as corporate consultant to Searle-owned businesses. Implemented objectives-oriented goal setting, performance appraisal systems. Radically altered the posture of the HRD department to be more responsive to short-term needs.
Worked with 26 Permanent Secretaries of all ministries of the Namibian Government . Conducted strategic planning, teambuilding, performance management systems to develop measures, management systems and improvement efforts for clarity of mission, objectives and strategies to increase productivity, and efficiencies. Trained 6 local consultants to sustain the effort.
Implemented communications, management development, intra- and inter-departmental team building for the Western Samoa Government.
